Centuries ago, a man stole the shadows of his fellow men,
plundered those of animals, also stripped those of the stars of the universe,
and hid them in the deepest part of his heart; in such a way that only he
remained with his shadow hovering everywhere he went.
So, years and centuries passed by. The heat of the earth
increased, its surface cracked, species of animals disappeared, wild flora
became exhausted, and the human being, anguished by the sun's burning, believed
that it was the end of his reign in Nature.
Meanwhile, the one who stole the shadows had his stumbles.
Behind him, they all followed him and formed a row that moved in unison with
him, and forced him to return those of his fellow men, in sorrow for not being
able to control them. Since those days, man could live in peace, and nothing
and nobody exists without a shadow.
